Taurine

Introduction:
Taurine is an amino acid, that is the second most abundant in the body’s muscle. Taurine has a  similar effect to the body as creatine, in that it increases body cell volume, helping muscles cells hold more water.  As a fairly new supplement to the industry, there has been little research (when compared with other supplements) – however it has been theorized that Taurine may be very important to maximizing performance in athletes as it assist with protein synthesis and thus muscle hypertrophy. Dairy products, meat, poultry, eggs and fish are good natural sources of taurine.
